Year 13 Government and Politics student Matt McLean has been selected for a place on the prestigious Vermont Governor's Institute Youth Activist leadership programme. Matt will be spending 10 days in Vermont this summer. Each year the Institute brings together 60 – 70 dynamic young leaders from across the world and challenges them to ask and answer difficult questions, by exploring different sides of issues and political perspectives.
The Department of Government and Politics were delighted that 12 students decided to apply and any one of the twelve would have made an excellent representative for the school.
We wish Matt well and would like to thank Miss Tweed for her assistance in the interview preparation.
