World Book Day

Pupils at St Dominic’s celebrated World Book Day on Wednesday 5th March 2025 with a range of reading, writing and creative activities. The WBD theme this year was ‘Adventure’, and so, pupils were introduced to books on the Literacy Display Board, which opened up new worlds of adventure to them. In lessons, bookmarks were designed, musical raps devised and reading aloud was everywhere. Reading for pleasure is enjoyed all year round at St Dominic’s and pupils have access to a wide range of genres and titles.
