Aims
Studying Technology and Design provides opportunities to tackle and resolve design and technological problems to meet human needs within a range of contexts, such as home, school, leisure, community, business and industry. You will
create your own product or system
work with tools and machines
use graphics, and other methods, to communicate your design ideas
make links between products and the impact they have on daily life
develop your decision-making skills
gain insight into related sectors such as manufacturing/engineering and the career paths they have to offer
