Students from our Year 13 ‘Politics in Action’ group attended a fascinating panel discussion at Queen’s University Belfast yesterday to celebrate International Women’s Day. The panel was curated by former pupil and Consent Ambassador at Q.U.B., Claire Murphy. This event, themed 'Ways Forward: Creating a Healthier, Safer, and Happier Society for Women in Northern Ireland,' was attended by representatives from the QUB Gender Initiative and the QUB SU Welfare Officer, as well as the Women’s Resource and Development Agency and the PSNI. It was an important and timely call to action, encouraging our pupils to get involved in activism and work to affect change in their communities.
