Our Year 13s were planning with Friends’ School Lisburn last week in their Politics in Action group. This year, students are working on ‘Democracy: Threats and Opportunities’, before attending an event in Girdwood Community Hub where they will discuss their project with politicians, journalists and other students involved in the project. We are grateful to Politics in Action Executive Director Paul Smyth for attending the session to see the students’ progress.’
